At Sustainability Suite, collaboration has always been central to the way we work. As the sustainability space continues to grow, we know how important it is to bring together people with shared values, practical expertise, and a genuine commitment to helping businesses take action.

That is why we are so proud to work closely with Kathryn Frimond, founder of The Sustainable Bookkeeper.

Kathryn is a bookkeeper and consultant who helps small businesses and finance professionals bring sustainability into everyday practice, cutting carbon alongside costs. ESGmark and Xero accredited, her work focuses on making green finance practical, accessible and jargon-free.

Over the past year, Kathryn has become a valued part of the Sustainability Suite community. She occasionally delivers our Carbon Literacy training, encourages her own network to attend, and is now also a consultant on our membership platform, giving our growing community access to her unique expertise.

For Kathryn, the relationship has always been rooted in collaboration.

“I’ve been working alongside the team at Sustainability Suite for a number of years following the launch of my own course for finance professionals, and later becoming part of the Carbon Literacy team. Instead of introducing a number of courses all with the same aim, it was better to join forces.”

Kathryn describes the Carbon Literacy training provided by Sustainability Suite as “exceptional,” highlighting the team’s ability to keep the material up to date, engaging and relevant for participants at all levels of carbon literacy.

For us, Kathryn’s support has been invaluable. She brings deep knowledge of bookkeeping, sustainability, small business support and practical carbon reduction, helping our members understand how sustainability can be embedded into everyday financial practice.

Her involvement also reflects something we strongly believe: this industry will grow best through collaboration, not competition. By working together, sharing expertise and supporting one another’s networks, we can help more businesses understand sustainability and take meaningful action.

As Kathryn puts it:

“What do you have to lose? If you are interested in how you can bring sustainability into your business, then Carbon Literacy is the place to start.”

We are proud to have Kathryn as part of the Sustainability Suite community and look forward to continuing to work together as the profession grows in a more sustainable, practical and collaborative way.
